Scope of works, drafted from the project's own documents
ROCMEP · UK building services (MEP) contractor
An AI assistant reads a project's specifications, drawings and requirements, answers questions with citations and drafts scope-of-works sections for the team to review.
Accepted. Passed ROCMEP's acceptance testing in June 2026.

Writing a scope of works means reading hundreds of pages of specifications and employer's requirements, then writing inclusions and exclusions that stand up to scrutiny.
It is slow, and it depends on whoever happens to know the documents best.
- A separate document library per project. The assistant only answers from that project's documents, and cites the source for every point.
- Ask by typing or by voice, then add any answer straight into the scope-of-works document as a new section.
- Draft a section from the documents, or use your own wording, then refine it and generate a PDF.
